Job Summary
The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing and developing training program for various departments and functions and launching those training programs when applicable to the required people. This role is also responsible for updating, launching, and monitoring the quarterly compliance program, including creating them to be delivered in multiple (at least 7) languages through the LMS. This role works closely with managers, subject matter experts, and team members to ensure that learning opportunities are aligned with the organization's goals and support employee growth and development.

Key Essential Functions/Duties:

Collaborate with department heads and managers to determine training requirements based on business objectives and performance goals.
Design, develop, and implement engaging training programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, webinars, and on-the-job training.
Update (with SMEs), launch and monitor the quarterly compliance training.
Translate the quarterly compliance trainings into multiple languages (7 including English).
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design techniques to create effective learning experiences.
Maintain and update the organization’s Learning Management System, ensuring that training content is current and accessible.
Track and monitor employee participation and progress in training programs.
Recommend innovative solutions to enhance training programs and employee engagement.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in learning and development or a related role.
Experience with instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery.
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360 and Workday Learning strongly preferred)
Project management skills, including ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
Professional Training Certifications are a plus.

Compensation for this contract position is expected to be $50-70/hr and there are no benefits for this position.
