The Pipeline Integrity Management Consultant serves as a trusted consulting engineer to our end clients, working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality consulting services and solutions. Specific work will vary but supports consulting service offerings within Asset (Pipeline and Facility) Integrity Analysis and Risk Management, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance under 49 CFR 192 Subpart O (Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management) and 49 CFR 195.452 (Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Integrity Management in High Consequence Areas).

General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with pipeline integrity management regulations is required, specifically 49 CFR 192 Subpart O and 49 CFR 195.452
- Thorough familiarity with 49 CFR 192 and 49 CFR 195 regulations (beyond Subpart O and §195.452) is highly valued, including Class Location, HCA identification, MAOP, reporting obligations, and related provisions.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline and/or facility integrity management data, including data integration, quality validation, and application in risk assessments and compliance programs
- Familiarity with integrity-related industry standards and best practices (API, ASME, NACE, etc.)
- Understanding of Integrity Analysis and Risk Management services, including threat screening, risk assessment, data integration, anomaly evaluation, remediation programs, and preventive & mitigative (P&M) measures
- Familiarity with HCA and Class Location Analyses
- Knowledge of Integrity Management Plans
- Experience with threat screening, risk assessment, data integration, anomaly evaluation, remediation programs, and P&M measures
- Experience with planning and executing assessment activities (ILI, pressure test, etc.) in accordance with an IM Plan
- Ability to review and analyze ILI data, identify anomalies required/recommended for evaluation, create unity plots, and compile post assessment documentation
- Capable of preparing and developing integrity-related reports
- Ability to work well with clients and ensure an ongoing favorable relationship

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited university is required
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of direct experience in pipeline and/or facility integrity management with demonstrable application of 49 CFR 192 Subpart O and/or 49 CFR 195.452 is required
- Pipeline Integrity Management experience within an operating company is preferred
- Project management skills are a plus
- Prior consulting experience is a plus
- Position level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
Communication skills:

- Clear, concise, and appropriate communication with team members and clients is essential
Computer skills:
- Experience with Pipeline Integrity risk management software is a plus; Ability to become proficient in ISltd Software products
- Strong capabilities in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with Python is a plus
- SQL and GIS Database management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of ESRI’s product platform (Desktop, Pro, ArcGIS Server, AGO, Portal, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with analytical tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus
Travel:
- Up to 15% travel within the U.S.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
