Full Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The FESCO Programs Lead will provide day-to-day operations support and assist participants residing at FESCO’s residential sites to achieve the highest level of self-sufficiency. We are looking for people who can be flexible and adaptable to step in where needed at our residential program sites located in Hayward.

We are currently seeking candidates who can work the following shifts (Note: Schedule may vary based on program need):

Tuesday-Saturday 11pm-7am

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Provide lead case management at Les Marquis and for participants in S+C, 3rd St Apartments, and for alumni/outreach referrals, which may include home visits as assigned by the Programs Manager
Maintain Outreach and Family Wait lists/logs Schedules/completes family intakes at Les Marquis
Provide staff scheduling and coverage support at Les Marquis and Banyan House, as needed
Completes initial Case Management Action Plan for Les Marquis residents and other program participants as assigned
Document services and referrals provided
Facilitate on-site resident meetings/groups, as needed
Assist with planning/facilitating on-going celebrations and social opportunities for residents that promote community at Les Marquis House
Collect all data entry forms, sign in sheets, and enter bed nights’/meal data on time and correctly to support program evaluation and outcomes tracking, as needed
Provide support to FESCO Admin staff for needed on-site vendor/maintenance work at Les Marquis House
Facilitates completion of move outs and exit paperwork for families at Les Marquis House
Support meal services processes as needed
General milieu support i.e. answering phones and assisting with donation drop offs/pick ups
Participate as needed with funder site visits
Provide support to Program Manager with internal case file audits
Complete case notes and maintain files on services provided.
Conduct on-going resident satisfaction surveys
Attend clinical, administrative, and case conferencing meetings
Support the Development Team by sharing client success stories and participating in site tours as assigned.
Completes Protection Factor Surveys with residents at Les Marquis
Covers assigned shifts as needed

Attend trainings and participate in events relevant to key responsibilities
Track and regularly report on key metrics for responsible function areas
Leads and collaborate on special projects related to agency objectives as appropriate
Other miscellaneous duties as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

BSW degree or a closely related field desired.
Must have 2 years of field experience working with people with serious mental illness, dual diagnosis and/or the homeless population
Spanish Bilingual required
Non-Profit and Community Based Organization experience highly desirable.
Demonstrates and models excellent “customer service” orientation, especially in the ability to interact with people at all levels within and outside the agency.
Thinks independently and can make informed decisions when needed.
Exercises extreme discretion with the ability to hold, balance and transmit public and confidential information needed by various parties.
Proficient using MS Office products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Acquires or maintains proficiency in using Google Drive products, including Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
TB tested (Tuberculosis Cleared)
ServSafe Food Safety Certification within 30 days of hire (La Familia will provide)
CPR and First Aid Certified (La Familia will provide)
Strong engagement skills. A willingness and ability to assertively create relationships with difficult to engage residents.
Willingness to be flexible with work schedule (weekends may be required for special events/coverage support).
Valid CA Driver’s licenseAuto insurance: Personal vehicle may be used for business related purposes; it is recommended you inform your auto insurance carrier.
