Full Job Description

Responsibilities and Working Conditions:

Responsible for managing, organizing and updating our maintenance ticketing system (will have assistance from a dedicated admin)
Responsible to perform logs/Inspections/reports assigned by the Facility Director
Responsible for maintaining and proficiently operating our CMMS asset management system
Responsible for locating/ordering parts for projects and repairs maintaining relationship with part suppliers
Responsible for overseeing correct repairs of Conveyor, automatic doors, racking & Misc warehouse equipment, both performed by our in-house labor and 3rd party maintenance contractors
Responsible for enforcing service agreement for the entire conveyor system
Engagement and training of new maintenance technicians in equipment repairs if needed
Responsible for the scheduling, supervising, and assigning work to maintenance technicians
Managing of conveyor supervisor and their direct team of technicians
Assist facility director with management of maintenance contracts assigned by director
Maintain and enforce a class A standard for overall building condition and cleanliness
Abide and enforce a safe working condition for facility and plant workers
Working in conjunction with health and safety department
Abide and enforce all food safe practices set forth by our Food Safety and Quality department inspectors
May be responsible for addressing FD operations maintenance concerns within a 650,000sqft facility inclusive of refrigeration, conveyors, food processing equipment, racking, dock doors, general building maintenance
May be asked to be available(phone/computer) during all business operating hours. 24/7
Responsible for all KPI’s related to conveyor performance
Proactive and cooperative manager who can plan ahead and pursue long term objectives
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
In a workday: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
Ability to work in a wet and cold environment sure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, flashing lights
Constant exposure to temperatures: <-10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators)
Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, flashing lights
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
Ability to work in other areas of the business as needed

Education and Qualifications:

Must have 10+ years of experience in team leadership and management in the conveyor, automated distribution industry
AS degree required, BS/BA degree would be a plus
Proficient in commercial/industrial: Conveyance, automated distribution and storage, high-rate mechanical sortation
Familiar with Preventative Maintenance contract management, BMS, Microsoft office
Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture
