Full Job Description

Assured Cyber Solutions seeks a Mid-Level Penetration Testing Professional to lead cybersecurity threat assessment and vulnerability management initiatives across client infrastructures.

Core Responsibilities

· Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and ethical hacking assessments

· Perform sophisticated vulnerability scans and detailed security assessments

· Identify, document, and prioritize security vulnerabilities across complex network infrastructures

· Develop detailed technical reports with actionable remediation recommendations

· Execute both automated and manual penetration testing techniques

· Simulate advanced persistent threat (APT) scenarios

· Support incident response and forensic analysis efforts

· Collaborate with security teams to validate and address identified vulnerabilities

· Assess and mitigate complex, multi-vector security vulnerabilities

· Support end-to-end enterprise-wide cybersecurity risk assessment programs

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cyber threat landscapes and exploitation techniques

· Provides recommended risk remediation actions to lower overall risk exposure, as required.

· Support end-to-end advanced exploit techniques, methods, and custom penetration testing tools

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology

· Master's degree strongly preferred

· 5-7 years of advanced framework NIST based Special Publications (800-115 and 800-53 CA-8, NIST SP 800-30, 800-37, 800-39, 800-53A, 800-137) professional penetration testing and offensive & defensive cybersecurity assessment experience (e.g. – ISSAF, PTF, SANS, PTES, OWASP, RMF testing), including both Blue and Red Team engagements

· Ability to obtain public trust security clearance and possess a clean background check

· Proven hands-on experience with penetration testing methodologies

· Demonstrated expertise in performing comprehensive secure source code analysis (e.g. – SAST, DAST, etc.)

Certification Requirements

· OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)

· Certified Penetration Testing Professional (CPENT)

· GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)

· GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN)

· CompTIA Security+
