We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Developer to join our innovative technology team. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications using languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C++, C#, and Java.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate secure and efficient data exchange between systems.
- Manage cloud infrastructure components on AWS and Azure to support application deployment and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Maintain version control using SVN and GitHub, ensuring code integrity and proper documentation.
- Optimize database performance by working with MySQL and SQL databases; perform data modeling and query tuning as needed.
- Contribute to front-end development efforts utilizing React Express, JavaScript frameworks, and web technologies for engaging user interfaces.
- Support application development on Linux and Windows platforms, ensuring compatibility across environments.
- Implement security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to safeguard sensitive data.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, networking, storage solutions, and cloud services (AWS & Azure).
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend development along with JavaScript frameworks like React for front-end interfaces.
- Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration across diverse systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub and SVN for collaborative software development.
- Solid understanding of database management using MySQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases; experience with SQL query optimization.
- Programming expertise in Python, C++, C#, Java, C, VBA, .NET frameworks, and application development tools.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems for deployment and maintenance of applications.
- Experience working within Agile development environments emphasizing iterative progress and team collaboration.
- Understanding of web development principles including front-end technologies like HTML5/CSS3 alongside JavaScript-based frameworks such as React Express.
