Do you have a natural knack for working with your hands? How about a love for power tools and being on the go for your day to day? Join Kellogg to bring out the tiger in you in one of our state-of-the-art facilities as an Electrician Apprentice, where you can learn how to work on food manufacturing industrial equipment under seasoned skilled trade mentors. Launch your career as an electrician, while also making some of your favorite foods!

After this portfolio transformation journey is complete, this role will support Kellanova, a leading company in global snacking, international cereal and noodles, plant-based foods, and North America frozen breakfast. APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM DETAILS

This is a paid apprenticeship that is tailored to emerging talent. This will not satisfy the requirements of state licenses.
The hourly pay rate for this role starts out at $30.35 and continues to increase throughout the program—and did we mention we have plenty of snacks?!
We will be investing in your future through a tuition reimbursement program during the apprenticeship
Requires a 1.5-year, full-time commitment starting May 2024
Your journey with us will include a full onboarding and professional development including executive exposure, networking events, and community activities
This role is located in Kansas City, Kansas and must be completed fully onsite

Get R-R-Ready to Learn – Not only will you be working day to day on our production lines, but also participating in robust professional development to give you a great taste of Kellogg
Utilize Your Education – You will be putting your textbook knowledge to the test in a real-world environment and be a part of how the snacks get made
Be a Problem Solver - Identifying and examining production equipment failures using root cause analysis. Interpreting schematics, drawings, and utilizing programmable logic controller troubleshooting techniques to repair electrical & mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors
Bake Your Best Ideas – As emerging talent in this field, you will be shaping this industry—your ideas are the missing ingredient we need to bring our best to the table!

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Student must be currently enrolled or eligible for enrollment at an accredited community college/trade school and available for a 1.5 year full-time commitment starting May 2024
Previous exposure to electrical concepts through either classroom or work experience
Must prove ability to perform basic tasks based on a technical aptitude test
Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
A desire to improve the place you work
Problem solving and analytical skills
