Position: Full-time Fully Licensed Therapist
Location: Corvallis, OR (Hybrid: Online and In-Person)

What We Offer:

Flexible Scheduling: Full-time therapists split their time between online and in-person sessions at our Corvallis office. You get to pick which days you come into the office and which days you work from home.
Growing Caseload: Quickly build a caseload of 25-30 appointments per week once credentialed.
Competitive Compensation: Earn up to 60% of the reimbursed session fee, with an average session rate of $175.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialized Training: Experience and training in working with couples.
Availability: Must be available to work in the office until 7 PM on 2 days per week.

Duties:

Abide by all of the appropriate code of ethics
Understand and apply all Coastal Center for Collaborative Health Policies and Procedures
Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families
Collaborate with other therapists and office staff to meet individual and family needs
Secure and document informed consent from all clients
Provide mental health screenings and assessments to determine treatment needs
Diagnose utilizing most current DSM format
Develop and document goals for each client and document all progress made toward completion of goals
Document information concerning therapy sessions, phone calls, e-mail, voicemail, school meetings, etc. as appropriate, explaining all contact as necessary
Complete a case closure summary when services are terminated, including information on documented hours of service, identified problems, client progress, and recommendations regarding further treatment
Make community referrals as appropriate, and work with other Coastal Center for Collaborative Health staff to facilitate any necessary follow-up regarding client needs
Participate in meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations as requested
Maintain awareness of current principles, practices, techniques, and trends in family counseling
Perform other duties as assigned

Entry Level Qualifications:

License to practice therapy independently in the state of Oregon, or ability to acquire your license.
Master’s degree from an accredited program in marriage and family therapy, professional counseling, or mental health counseling.
Knowledge of current principles, practices, techniques, and trends in individual and family counseling
Familiarity in working effectively with couples and families from a systemic perspective
Theoretical basis and practical experience with crisis intervention
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working with families with diverse backgrounds and beliefs
Must possess the ability to problem solve in urgent situations
Outstanding organizational skills and punctuality

Special Requirements:

Hold professional liability insurance at $1,000,000/$3,000,000 minimums
Be able to pass a background check
