Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our innovative team. In this role, you will serve as a vital bridge between business needs and technical solutions, leveraging your expertise in systems engineering, solution architecture, and IT infrastructure. Your energetic approach will drive the analysis, design, and implementation of complex business systems, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and cloud environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence system architecture and optimize operational efficiency through cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

Duties

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into scalable system solutions.
Design and develop system architectures utilizing Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and RESTful APIs to enhance interoperability.
Conduct system design reviews, including solution architecture assessments and system hardening strategies to ensure security and performance.
Manage data integration processes using ETL tools, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), NoSQL databases, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Oversee system administration tasks such as load balancing, firewall configuration, VPN setup, and operating system management across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Git for continuous integration and deployment.
Perform vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence analysis, and system hardening procedures to safeguard information security.
Support virtualization environments using VMware or ESXi; manage container orchestration with Kubernetes for scalable microservices deployment.
Troubleshoot issues related to network configurations (DNS, DHCP), system performance (load balancing), and security protocols (firewall rules).
Facilitate Agile development cycles by participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative testing using tools like WDS or Jenkins.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field; advanced certifications preferred.
Proven experience with solution architecture design within Service-oriented architecture (SOA) frameworks.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking (TCP/IP, VPNs), firewalls, DNS/DHCP management.
Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure; familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi.
Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails or C++.
Expertise in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
Skilled in system security practices including vulnerability management, threat intelligence analysis, system hardening techniques.
Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git.
Knowledge of web services standards such as SOAP and RESTful APIs; experience with DevOps tools like Kubernetes is advantageous.
