Full Job Description

Summary: Will provide standard bank teller services by ensuring a high level of excellent customer service by supporting branches in various roles through short-term assignments as needed. Will have the skill to actively listen and engage in conversation in order to meet overall financial needs. This includes standard teller transactions while providing excellent customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Serves as a Teller, as needed
Communicates effectively and confidently, and is comfortable engaging all customers
Is an enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results, acting in the best interest of the customer
Collaborates effectively to meet overall financial needs while building and nurturing strong relationships
Displays passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an excellent customer experience that improves their overall financial needs
Is confident in identifying solutions for new and existing customers based on customer needs
Has the ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
Is confident in educating customers on how to conduct simple banking transactions through self-service technologies (for example, ATM, online banking, mobile banking, some basic treasury management services)
Applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet customers’ needs
Will follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities to do what is right for customers and the bank
Mitigate exceptions by adhering to bank policy and procedures
Efficiently manages your time and capacity
Focuses on results, while acting in the best interest of the customer

· Flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed

· Perform other job duties, as assigned

· May travel between branches providing support as needed

· Responsible for completing compliance and all other training courses as assigned

This position is required to spend the first two weeks of employment training at our Dallas branch located at 2707 W. Northwest Hwy Dallas, TX 75220

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · Must have the ability to type 60 wpm;

· Must be able to operate 10-key;

· Must be able to perform basic reading, writing and math skills;

· Must be able to complete normal transactions with limited supervision;

· Must be proficient in computers and Microsoft Office software;

· Must have working knowledge of office equipment;

· Must have the ability to handle large amounts of money without error;

· Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer relation skills;

· Must have attention to detail and mental concentration for accurately performing tasks;

· Must be able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously;

· Must be able to handle frequent interruptions; and

· Must be able to pass background and credit screening process.

Education and/or Experience:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;

· Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Teller preferred; and

· Complete New Account –Consumer and New Account – Business training required.

· Bilingual required in Hindi and Gujarati or Tamil
