SUMMARY:

The IT Workday Enterprise Applications Analyst serves as the Enterprise Application and Workday technical subject matter expert, provides system administration and support, and performs system configuration, enhancement, and deployment efforts. This role will serve as an active partner, collaborating across IT and with clinical and business leaders to provide strategic analysis and develop data-driven insights. Additionally, this individual will serve as the liaison between clinical/business teams, third party vendors and across IT for system integrations, enhancements, and issue fixes. The Enterprise/Workday Applications Analyst will demonstrate appropriate proficiency in project management, data analytics and reporting, communication with leadership, as well as system knowledge, process analysis, and configuration abilities.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be seen as knowledgeable in enterprise application module capabilities and configuration
Address break/fix and service requests submitted by application users
Implement ongoing enhancements to improve the enterprise application’s capabilities to meet the clinical & business operations needs
Perform ongoing enterprise application maintenance activities
Participate in and implement project solutions
Bring best practice insight into enterprise application capabilities and configuration options
Maintain IT Enterprise / Workday Application including data, application version, configuration, user access/profile, integration, and server management

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

Bachelor's Degree in IT and/or related discipline
Enterprise Application related certifications preferred
Workday Proc Certification preferred

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience in IT enterprise application/Workday platforms eliciting business requirements, developing detailed systems specifications, designing, and prototyping, testing, defining support procedures, data conversion, and implementing business process improvements
Understanding of clinical/business fundamentals that the enterprise application supports
Experience within complex healthcare environment and demonstrated success with IT enterprise application solutions
Experience with networking, on-premise & cloud solutions, databases, data flow, and cyber security are a plus. Programming and database scripting/querying experience is a plus
Knowledge of Windows Server environments including Active Directory and Exchange
Experience with project planning and delivery of IT enterprise application and/ or Workday solutions

Key Performance Areas

Support for Enterprise Application: Serve as the primary support for the Enterprise Application.
Business Requirements Documentation: Identify and document business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures.
Requirements Analysis: Participate in sessions with business teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Solution Architecture Support: Assist the Enterprise Application Lead in creating cohesive solutions and addressing cross-functional impacts.
Advisory Role: Provide guidance to clinical and business teams on industry standards and best practices.
Design Development: Develop and recommend design options using prototyping techniques.
Application Methodologies: Understand and apply relevant application methodologies.
Production Support: Provide support including triage, bug fixes, enhancements, end-user assistance, and application monitoring.
Process Knowledge: Develop knowledge of processes and custom validations.
Testing Support: Assist with testing and support activities.
Report Development Assistance: Help with the development of ad-hoc reports.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues reported by users.
Enhancements Management: Document, prioritize, and develop system enhancements.
User Assistance: Assist users with system-related inquiries.
Regression Testing: Plan and conduct regression testing for periodic releases.
Functionality Review: Assess new functionalities for their impact on existing processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to regulations and internal controls, including approval processes and change management.
Application Needs Assessment: Assess new application needs and integrate solutions as required.
