About the role

As a Freelance Content Creator at Ernie Ball you will work with the creative and content teams to shoot and edit short-form video content for our marketing department. You will work on a project-by-project basis helping create and build a library of short-form social media videos that celebrate Ernie Ball’s iconic brand and counterculture legacy. Projects cover a vast portfolio ranging from marketing campaigns, social media, film, trade shows, music events, and activations. As a Freelance Content Creator, you will report directly to our Art Director based in San Luis Obispo.

How You Contribute

Work under the direction of our creative and social content team to develop and execute short-form video content concepts for Ernie Ball’s global marketing and product efforts.
Work on product shoots, both location and tabletop including prep, styling, and editing.
Stay current on trends and design technologies that further Ernie Ball’s brand goals

Skills For Success:

Deep understanding of social media formats and requirements
Exceptional knowledge of video, lighting, and audio equipment
Adobe Creative Suite is the preferred editing platform
Ability to conceptualize, develop, and execute projects
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and work independently.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
A deep understanding and appreciation for music, film, and lifestyle culture
A background as a guitarist, bassist, or musician is preferred
You must own your own camera equipment and computer for editing

Salary Range:

$200 - $800 per day based on the project
