Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly service-oriented Senior Paralegal for our dynamic and growing firm.

We are advocates in the law but also maintain a strong foothold in supporting charitable causes through advocacy, volunteerism, or offering legal education to individuals and local businesses. It is important to the sustainability of our firm that all attorneys and staff share the same values as our firm, with active participation in organizations throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Position:

This role will provide support for our civil municipal, employment and litigation areas of law by assisting in preparing, reviewing and summarizing legal documents and contracts; and conducting legal research involving advanced and complex issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft documents, including letters, resolutions, and ordinances.

2. Obtain information from various parties, analyze and incorporate into documents.

3. Work directly with attorneys to identify and coordinate the completion of projects.

4. Interact with clients and third parties.

5. File management and organization.

6. Court calendaring and docketing

7. Assembling briefs, motions, and pleadings

8. Assisting attorneys with trial and trial preparation

9. Document review for fact investigation

10. Electronic filing of documents in state and federal courts

11. Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.

2. Paralegal certification from an accredited institution.

3. 5+ years of experience in a paralegal role.

4. Profound knowledge of business and commercial law, encompassing corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

5. Outstanding communication skills.

6. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
