Full Job Description

Data Entry Position (Bilingual: English and Spanish)

This position works as a support data entry specialist for the Cuban and Haitian team. The position is responsible for maintaining client intake information, ensuring that information is entered into the database and up to date, as well as reports. This position will work closely with the Cuban and Haitian caseworkers and will be supervised by the Cuban and Haitian Coordinator.

Essential Duties and Tasks:

Support Cuban and Haitian team with case opening preparation of documents
Familiarize self with ORR eligibilities and immigration legal documents
Maintain database entries and keep up to date, uploading documents, and adding case notes
Run reports on client services and enrollments and exits
Maintain waiting lists and documentation of services
Maintain that new Cuban and Haitian enrollments are up to date
Complete reports to maintain client data
Support Cuban and Haitian caseworkers with scheduling clients for case opening, answering client questions, and assisting with walk-in clients
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Associate’s degree or above
Experience working in an office setting preferred
Experience working with refugees and immigrants preferred

Requirements:

Fluency in Spanish required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook Required
Strong proficiency in Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets Required
Ability to stay organized
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to accurately examine and analyze information
Ability to work under pressure
