Full Job Description

We are looking for a Food and Beverage all-star to join our team that is inspired by great service. If you are looking to make your mark on the Boston/Cambridge Market this is the place to join! The ideal candidate is someone that is a dynamic leader, energetic, and is excited about the Food and Beverage operation like we are!

A bit about us:

Situated along the scenic Charles River and overlooking the Boston skyline, the recently renovated Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge is a welcoming hotel conveniently located near Cambridge’s Kendall Square, the city steps from some of the most prestigious universities such as MIT, Boston University and Harvard. The short 5-mile drive from Logan Airport makes travel fast and convenient. Our guests can spend the afternoon walking, running, or biking along the Charles River or work out using our Fitness Center. Our food & beverage offerings include in-room dining in guest rooms and suites with breathtaking views of the Charles River and the city of Boston or equally curated experiences in our seasonal patio or the dining room of our, soon to open, newly conceptualized restaurant and bar lounge.

Our central location provides easy access to points of interest in both Cambridge & Boston!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING EVERY DAY-

Our Outlet Managers ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining reputation and great customer service. Must coordinate a variety of activities for other related outlets, such as Room Service and Bar. Responsible for the business performance of the restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, health and safety standards. Restaurant management combines strategic planning, shift organization, and some HR components of leading a team. Reports directly to the Restaurant General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

4 years experience in the food and beverage industry.
Six months to one year in a management position.
Must be able to schedule, forecast, and budget department.
Some wine and fine food knowledge helpful.
Read, write and speak English fluently.
Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
