As the Global Head of Incident Management, you will manage our first response to community issues, ensuring that we are responding timely and considering the broader picture of how we respond to incidents. You'll provide day-to-day leadership and priority setting for the team, review and improve processes, and handle sensitive escalations covering a wide range of issues.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines, which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

What will I be doing?

You will be providing leadership and day-to-day management of our Incident Response Team.
You will analyze incident trends, systems, and data to develop improvements to the overall escalation processes and provide recommendations for process, policy, and product improvements.
You will be handling escalations in real-time, liaising with relevant stakeholders, and driving incident resolution through to an appropriate conclusion.
You will be coordinating with global cross-functional teams including Public Policy, Legal, Product, and Engineering among others to develop solutions.

Qualifications

You should have experience related to Trust & Safety.
You have experience in a leadership position in a top technology firm or equivalent with a strategic mindset, agility in responding, and strong judgment. You have extensive team management experience with both senior contributors and managers.
You have the ability to work effectively under high pressure, strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with different teams.
You have respect for other cultures and deep empathy for users. You are eager to shape a new space within a rapidly growing and changing tech company.
You have a keen interest and acute knowledge in social media challenges, sensitivity to safety or regulatory issues, and experience with crisis management.
Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $185240 - $344400 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
