Description:
The Nanotronics Director of Product & Deployment, AIPC is a smart, creative and passionate individual who help lead the team in the customization and deployment of the world’s most integrated manufacturing platform. This position will be responsible for designing, building and deploying nControl products and delivering Nanotronics’ vision and strategy to ensure continuity in product offering and company goals. You will provide technical leadership and work closely with our R&D and Software teams to ensure that we form best practices.
Salary Range: $131-219k per year

Requirements:

Education and Experience

MS/PhD in the Sciences, or related field
-
10+ years of solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in product development and promoting new or existing products

Ability to lead efforts to market to customers by deeply understanding their needs and use cases

Ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management

Demonstrate and communicate the capabilities of Nanotronics products to prospective customers

Demonstrated ability to be creative, strategic, analytical, and think outside the box when problem-solving, then implement

Generalist with experience in multiple engineering domains to effectively communicate with customers in early stages of deployment

Expert with all hardware and software features of Nanotronics products

Super savvy in Process Control, Machine Learning, Natural Learning Process, Computer Vision

Ability to perform all testing required to support the above capabilities

Ability to prepare concise reports of results indicating specific capabilities that will be of interest to the customer

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Applications Engineering and Deployment teams
-
Manage product road map
-
Help to prioritize product opportunities using criteria and requirements defined during research

Contribute to marketing strategy and messaging, and help maintain technical accuracy of marketing messages

Create and deliver product demos to illustrate product capabilities, differentiators, and benefits for practitioners
-
Direct and assist with market research to identify user need for new products or features that support near-term growth along with long-term expectations of having diversified product offerings and company

Support sales and marketing by having regular next-generation product discussions with customers
-
Gain a deep understanding of customer applications and needs, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive revenue

Demonstrate, install and train customers on the use and capabilities of Nanotronics products

Deployments to customer sites for new applications or software features

Direct and perform all aspects of product design and development including product positioning, specification sheet copy, host or assist in training sessions or documentation

Establish requirements and specifications for existing and new products by understanding and listening to customer applications and needs and combining that with a deep understanding where our current products fit in and what revisions may or may not be required

Adhere to and promote company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company

Clearly communicate the vision and goals of existing and new products

Work with cross-functional teams in business, product, design, and engineering to make sure expectations are clear and that everyone is on the same page and communicating effectively

Develop metrics to assess the success of products, features and determine necessary enhancements

Collaborate with customers, team members, and outside influencers to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of products and developing needs

Demonstrate functionality of completed products to internal team members and other stakeholders

Manage and communicate product changes or enhancements both internally and externally
