Overview:

Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located near Frederick, MD. Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking an Information Collection and Management Specialist to provide support to one of our contracts in the DC Metro area.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for data collection, data analysis, creation and/or updating of SOPs and technical manual/guides, developing deliverables and artifacts as needed.
Support activities and tasks related to program process automation and data analytics, including but not limited to process interviews and requirements gathering, product testing and documentation, attending additional training, and other ad hoc requests.
Collect, consolidate, validate, report, and manage Enterprise IT and Cybersecurity data using tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, CyberScope, OMB MAX.gov and MAX Collect, RSA Archer, and the DOE Powerpedia Wiki.
Work directly with clients to assist with various deliverables associated with a given data collection assignment, provide expertise on processes and/or institutional knowledge, perform role of trusted advisor.
Evaluate processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
Contribute to team goals through effective communication and team collaboration.

Qualifications:

US Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, information systems, statistics, or related field.
At least five years of experience in the areas of information technology, cybersecurity, management consulting in the Federal Government, or data management
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot tables), Outlook, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
SNOW experience preferred.
Agile experience; CSM or SAFe certification preferred. Experience with Jira a plus.
IT implementation project experience and knowledge of SDLC and change management desirable.
Must be detail-oriented and be able to effectively multitask while maintaining high work quality.
Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive
Ability to prioritize.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong dedication to customer service.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; business and technical writing is a must
