Full Job Description

Overview:

Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Proposal Manager to join our business development team. The proposal manager will report to the VP of Proposals, and will primarily support the proposal management for bids under IDIQ/GWAC contract vehicles held by Edgewater.

Responsibilities:

Review RFPs for proposal production/documentation guidelines.
Work with GWAC PMO Lead and/or Capture Managers to develop, maintain, and communicate proposal outline, schedule and other activities.
Liaise with teammates for inputs to proposal responses as well as ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Craft data calls for partner companies.
Support the development of compelling, compliant, quality-driven proposal sections or edit existing technical content, as needed, that address task order RFP requirements.
Support solutioning of win themes, features and benefits, risks and mitigation approaches, and discriminators as appropriate.
Provide technical editing of provided content.
Report status of task order proposal efforts to the VP of Proposals.
Maintain documentation for proposals in alignment with Edgewater records management policies.
Submit compliance proposals and represent Edgewater to the Contracting Shops.
Demonstrate leadership to engage and motive a diverse group of proposal contributors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related field, 3-5 years of experience in technical editing/writing, and 2-4 years of progressive experience in proposal management.
In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.
Experience providing compliant responses to task orders.
Familiarity with GWAC vehicles.
Ability to meet short term deadlines in an accelerated environment.
Must have the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
Outstanding communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working within a federal government contract environment preferred.
Understanding of information technology concepts preferred.
