Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator/Welder. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years' experience in fabricating and welding miscellaneous metals and structural steel. This role requires a strong ability to interpret blueprints and follow verbal instructions accurately. The successful candidate will maintain a productive work pace while upholding the highest standards of quality in their work. Proficiency in MIG welding is a necessity, and experience in TIG welding is considered a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld miscellaneous metals and structural steel components according to blueprints and verbal instructions.
Ensure precise alignment and fit of components to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Operate welding equipment and machinery with skill and safety consciousness.
Collaborate closely with team members, project managers, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of fabrication processes and techniques.
Uphold the company's commitment to excellence by delivering high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a fabricator and welder of miscellaneous metals and structural steel.
Proficiency in interpreting and working from blueprints as well as verbal instructions.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a balance between productivity and attention to detail.
Strong MIG welding skills are essential; TIG welding experience is a valuable plus.
