Piece work pay structure based on units installed, duct work, per run, and per cut-in

Responsibilities

Install new HVAC equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Ensure completion of job folders, including all necessary documentation and records.
Follow the installation process diligently from start to finish for every job.
Perform start-up procedures and testing on newly installed HVAC systems.
Park vehicles properly and as requested by customers.
Wear shoe covers to maintain cleanliness and protect customers' homes.
Utilize drop cloths during installations to prevent any damage or mess.
Prioritize and ensure a safe work environment for the entire team on a daily basis.
Communicate and build value in the services provided by 1st Choice Air Solutions.
Offer honest and valuable opinions to homeowners based on expertise and customer needs.
Complete and submit all required paperwork promptly and accurately.
Utilize Service Titan, the company's software platform, for efficient management of tasks and records.
Train and mentor helpers, providing guidance to develop them into leads.
Adhere to Nexstar's processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and standards.

Job requirements

Proficiency in installing new HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications
Stay updated on newly released equipment and technologies in the HVAC industry
Experience in programming thermostats in smartphones
Knowledge of ductwork installation and duct cleaning procedures
3-5 years of experience in HVAC installation
Demonstrated hard-working attitude and dedication to completing tasks effectively
Excellent organizational skills to manage projects and workload efficiently
Availability to work overtime and handle weekend installation calls
Successful completion of a background check
Pass a drug test
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes
Ability to accurately fill out paperwork and maintain records
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers
Must be authorized to work in the US.
