Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Labor and Employment Paralegal with at least one (1) year of experience processing litigation matters for the Princeton, NJ office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys in discovery;
- Indexing, tracking, and controlling case related materials;
- Processing settlements for complex litigation matters;
- Reviewing documents for relevance and inclusion in case file.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients/contacts.
- Demonstrate excellent facility using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), database and presentation software.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree preferred.
- Associate's degree or paralegal certificate with two years of comparable work experience required.
- 1 year of professional work experience (law firm, preferred).
- Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
