We are looking for a strategic, technical and innovative product leader to help us build the future of enterprise application development. We need a leader with a track record for driving innovative ideas and cutting-edge capabilities from initial concept to successful delivery and market leadership.
Our strong existing foundation for enterprise apps combined with the innovations we’re building in our Einstein 1 Platform set up Salesforce to reemerge as the leader in Enterprise App Dev.

In this role, the SVP Product AppDevelopment will lead the future of App Development by creating the strategy for development, investments, and go to market strategy. This leader will work in strong cross functional collaboration with our AI Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Tableau, etc. We are seeking a SVP who demonstrates the organization leadership experience, and enthusiasm for our end user and incredible eco-system of developers and partners.

Responsibilities:

Build the vision for the future of Application Development on the Salesforce platform. Evangelize this vision with our customers, partners and employees.
Collaborate cross cloud to lead priorities and strategy for AppDev across the platform capabilities.
Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy & plan in collaboration with: marketing, sales, sales enablement, alliances, sales support and product teams
Lead a team of product managers through the end to end product life cycle; this includes: market needs, multi-year product vision, strategy and roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success
Perform the role of champion to promote and evangelize our new appdev features with marketing, sales, support, professional services, partners and customers
Leverage market analysis, knowledge of competitors, and customer research to define product roadmap and identify more value for our customers
Build compelling demos for internal and external use
Actively participate in industry events, customer briefings and advisory boards and social media communications

Qualifications:

High energy and passion for the job
Product Leadership and People Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite and lead a product team
Equivalent of 15+ years of product management or similar experience
Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into a concrete multi-year product roadmap
Expertise in App Development
Experience & Expertise in Artificial Intelligence
Strong organizational and analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions
Professionalism, dedication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Experience working with customers and partners to understand their needs and partner for sales
