Systems Administrator
(Hybrid role, must be based in Atlanta area)

RPI, a global leader in print-on demand, is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in Microsoft Windows Server OS and VMware to ensure the seamless operation, security, and performance of our enterprise IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain a cutting-edge enterprise VMware virtualization environment.
Management of Azure services – Intune, Conditional Access Policies, AVD, Exchange Online, and Endpoint Manager
Perform day-to-day administration of Windows Servers, virtualization, and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Identify and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, delivering efficient solutions.
Continuously monitor and analyze system performance metrics to enhance overall system efficiency.
Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure seamless integration and operation of all systems.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
Manage and maintain SAN and NAS storage systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Oversee Active Directory infrastructure enhancing user management and security protocols.
Monitor and maintain system security and antivirus software, safeguarding against potential threats.
Execute routine backups and disaster recovery operations to protect critical data.
Support off-site datacenter, ensuring smooth functionality.
Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience as a System Admin in an enterprise environment.
In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, vCenter, and Hyper-V.
Thorough understanding and hands-on experience with various versions of MS Windows server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and FC.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends to support operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, MCSA, Azure, Microsoft 365)
Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) such as VMware vSAN.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
