You’re probably wondering about a day in the life as an LG Networks engineer. Here is a brief description:

LG Networks’ Engineers are responsible for day-to-day PC/Server support, ticketing system flow, coordinating support sessions with users and resolving high-level IT support issues. This position also assists with ongoing technology projects.

Additional responsibilities will include basic troubleshooting of workstations and printer issues, network connectivity problems, mail-flow complications, Active Directory and Group Policy requests, firewall configuration (including basic LAN/WAN and vLAN configuration and troubleshooting), server deployments (physical and ESXi), server and email migrations, server troubleshooting and all things networking.

Now that we’ve piqued your interest, here are the qualifications that make for a successful team player with LG Networks:

You have verifiable IT help desk work experience
You consider yourself a master troubleshooter
You will be able to work in the office from 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday.
You understand that Information Technology is constantly changing, and you consistently work to grow your skills
You are NOT restricted from working with Microsoft Cloud for Government accounts
You understand that supporting customers is a 24X7 responsibility. LG Networks Engineers work a rotating on-call schedule
You possess a valid Texas driver’s license and reliable/insured transportation
You can arrive at the LG Networks’ office (75243 zip code) within 1 hour or less during rush-hour periods
You currently possess current Microsoft Associate or Expert certifications
You possess a current CompTIA Network+ or higher-level certification(s)
You’ve built a physical and/or virtual Domain Controller server within the past 3-6 months
You can perform basic firewall configurations
You’re experienced with all-things Active Directory (including GPO creation)
You’ve been told that your attention-to-detail and customer service are an example to others
