Full Job Description

Atlantic Digital is a Veteran owned company that provides expertise and advanced technology solutions to Government clients in support of critical defense, intelligence and national security missions. We have been in business since 2009 and have experienced 50% growth in the last 2 years. We are looking for skilled IT candidates that are mission focused, possess a DoD Security clearance and ready to take their career to the next level.

DoD TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED

Shift work is required to support 24×7 operations. It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required to include nights, weekends and holidays.

SQL Server Experience Required

Typical Mission duties include:

Monitoring and maintaining databases
Performing requested changes, updates and modifications to database structure and data
Ensuring technical modifications do not adversely affect database integrity, stability, and system availability
Implementing solutions for database backup and recovery infrastructure

Certification Requirements:

DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II or higher

AND

Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) 11g * OR
MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 OR
MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Admin OR
Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate

Experience Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in a database administration role performing Tier 2 level support with no less than four years working with databases.
Database modeling and implementation.
User interface development and user experience.
Ability to produce visualization of data for leadership decision-making.
Knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, C++, or .NET.
Microsoft Office application skills: Microsoft Access knowledge is preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Microsoft SharePoint database integration experience is desired.
