**Qualifications:**

1. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

The driver must hold a valid Class A CDL to operate a vehicle with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 lbs or more.
The CDL must be in good standing, with no suspensions or revocations.

2. Clean Driving Record

The driver should have no serious driving violations (e.g., reckless driving, DUI) in the past three years.
According to FMCSA guidelines, any driver with multiple violations in a short time may be considered a higher risk, which could affect the hiring decision.
Ensure the driver has no disqualifying offenses such as:
Driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
Using the commercial vehicle to commit a felony.
Hit-and-run accidents.

3. Medical Certification

Drivers must have a valid medical examiner’s certificate (DOT Medical Card) to ensure they meet the physical requirements necessary to drive safely.
The driver should have passed their DOT physical exam and maintain up-to-date health records.

4. Compliance with FMCSA’s Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

The driver must not be currently undergoing or recently completed a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) program as per 49 CFR Part 40.
They must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and provide consent for employers to check their history in the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

5. Experience

Preference for drivers who have at least two years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
Comfortable with driving 8 to 10 days on the road and managing long-haul routes without needing frequent home time.

6. Self-Starter and Independence

As an OTR driver, the individual should be self-motivated and able to manage their time effectively.
They must have experience working with minimal supervision and should be familiar with route planning, GPS navigation, and time management.

7. Age Requirement

According to FMCSA regulations, the driver must be at least 21 years old to operate a commercial vehicle in interstate commerce.

8. Safety Record

The candidate must maintain a clean safety record, ensuring compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and adhering to all traffic laws.

9. Background Check

A thorough background check should be conducted, including criminal history and driving violations, as per FMCSA guidelines.

10. ELD (Electronic Logging Device) Familiarity

The driver should be familiar with ELD usage to accurately track hours of service as per FMCSA compliance.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking 5 dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short or long distances while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Willing to accept percentage based pay.

**Responsibilities:**

- We are currently looking to fill in 5 positions.

- Drive trucks with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo.

- No touch load.

- Operate trucks equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials.

- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed.

- Operate automatic transmission vehicles that are up to date.

- Ensure goods are secured properly for transport.

- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
