YOUR DAY AS A COOK HELPER

As a Cook Helper at Palolo Chinese Home, you will play a crucial role in our daily meal service by performing various routine tasks and operations to prepare and cook food items. Your responsibilities will include following standard practices and procedures in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, reviewing menus, assembling food supplies and equipment, and completing the preparation of assigned menu items. You will follow recipes and other production information to ensure the quality and consistency of our dishes. Additionally, you will be responsible for labeling, dating, and appropriately storing food items, as well as alerting the cook or supervisor to any equipment issues, food supply needs, or concerns related to sanitation and safety.
