Job Description:

Robotic Research Autonomous Industries (RRAI) is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a relentless pursuit of tactical outcomes and turning chaos into order. The Senior Project Manager will lead projects to completion by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives, create long and short-term plans to include setting targets for milestones, make effective decisions when presented with multiple options on how to progress with project, and communicate with the appropriate cadence to keep project aligned with goals and adjust schedules and targets as appropriate to align with project changes.

Position Responsibilities:

Creates project timeline and oversees project coordination and reviews (ie. Product Roadmap meetings, Sprint meetings, etc.)
Manages and monitors Jira task creation.
Leads multiple levels of project reviews with core team, key stakeholders, and C-Suite
Coordinate with supply chain team for pre-production/engineering builds.
Responsible for tracking and reporting of key metrics.
Coordinates across related engineering teams to deliver according to project timeline.
Coordinates & supports testing/demonstrations.
Drives risk mitigation and escalation.
Monitors and reports on sub-contractor initiatives.
Works with Operations Analyst to estimate and assign resources.
Works with Engineering to provide cost estimates as key component of business case.
Answers Engineering “could” we do this feature/capability at what cost and when and provides prioritization trade-of options.
Provides time and cost impacts to any proposed changes to Product roadmap.
Project Dashboard (metrics and risks, TBD specifics) creation and maintenance
Works cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Deployment Operations team (production-ready milestone tracking)
Accountable for budget, execution timeline and meeting deadlines

Required Skills & Abilities:

Ability to lead through ambiguity and independently run projects with minimal direction.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on structure and execution
Proven track record of independently driving cross functional collaboration to deliver complete projects on time and according to requirements.

Education & Experience:

B.S. or B.A in a related field from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
Project management experience for government programs a plus.
5+ years of project management experience
