Senior Quality Manager
OUR ROLE
Embark on an exciting journey where your expertise will shape the very foundations of quality excellence. In this pivotal role, you'll actively shape and enhance quality processes and management systems. Your focus will be driving quality improvements to enhance the customer experience. You'll play a key role in supporting the supply chain functions in the development and implementation of effective quality strategies and systems. The role is full-time and is hybrid based.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS GROUP
Responsibilities:
Drive quality policy and strategy, across the supply chain operation in Fiskars BA.
Lead a team of Quality Engineers, Compliance Engineers and Test Lab Technicians, with focus on empowering, motivating and engaging team members.
Guiding supply chain functions in the execution of good quality process, enabling the supply of compliant and high-quality product to the marketplace.
Responsible for ensuring that effective preventative measures are implemented in response to quality issues raised. Facilitate cross functional collaboration to drive top claim improvements.
Active participation in the internal auditing program, to verify process compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure product compliance requirements are defined for all categories in BA Fiskars. Test plans provided by Compliance team in NPD and product transfers and test plans validated. Pipeline legislation monitored and communicated with known impacts and timeline. Monitor progress to readiness.
Oversee in house functional test lab operations, ensuring quality standards and testing process guidelines are in place and effective.
Manage Quality network for manufacturing units, driving good practice, aligned ways of working, quality strategy and targets.
WHO YOU ARE
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in managing a team of Quality Professionals in a manufacturing / sourcing environment, preferably with household / tools type product. Experience in metals and plastics beneficial.
In depth understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality tools essential.
Internal auditing experience, preferably to ‘lead audit’ level.
Demonstrate a holistic and systematic approach for improving quality and related ways of working.
Proven ability to manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration, and achieving quality objectives.
Exhibit strong collaboration skills and demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving within a team environment.
Effectively navigate and contribute to a matrix organizational structure, showcasing adaptability and collaboration across functions.
Possess a good understanding of business priorities, aligning quality initiatives with overarching organizational goals.
Experience and proficiency in quality auditing processes, ensuring adherence to established standards and continuous improvement.
