Job Summary

Under the direction of the Firm strategy leader in the Office of the Managing Partner; the Analyst III gathers information and data, analyzes and documents business and technical requirements. Identifies and implements business process improvements and technology solutions, assists in the preparation and finalization of business case documents, and manages projects in accordance with firm policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

Collaborates and/or acts as a liaison with business owners, IT and vendors to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements, work through process improvements, and identify potential solutions.
Prepares complex business case and business requirements documents by participating in business and vendor meetings to understand system direction and potential impact of system upgrades to the Firm. Prepares project documentation, test plans, requirements definitions, and risk assessments.
Innovates inside of process improvement and system implementation efforts.
Plays a key role in vendor relationship and drive influence and consensus building efforts for recommended solutions.
Manages the efficient and timely implementation of process and/or technology changes that meet business and technology requirements.
Mentors other Analysts as needed. Ensure continuous learning of business and/or technical processes and procedures related to use of assigned systems and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
Liaisons with peers at other firms/companies to gather best business practices for assigned systems.
Plays a key role in project teams to ensure the on-time delivery of projects within budget.
Works closely with enterprise architects, solution architects and quality assurance project team members to translate requirements into solution blueprints, and to validate new system or process performance.
Maintains familiarity with market trends, customer requirements, and best practices.
Operates with a customer centric mindset and ability to analyze most important components of customer engagement that can help drive business solutions and improve customer experience.
Establishes exceptional, effective, and collaborative partnerships with key business area leaders, project managers and subject matter experts to identify specific business opportunities or to address business needs or problems and help build effective solutions.
Creates engaging relationships with client leadership and project team

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or an IT related major, business, finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience
Five+ years of job-related experience
Experience working with Agile Methodologies
Heavy business analysis or systems analysis concentration
Business process or system design/implementation
Demonstrated preference for taking initiative and ownership of projects and key deliverables
Demonstrated ability to learn and understand internal stakeholder's priorities, challenges, methods, and processes.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization
Comfortable with occasional business travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

System life cycle management experience
Software systems selection experience
Project Management or project coordination experience
IIBA certification or demonstrated equivalent with business analysis focus
Large group meeting facilitation

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
Proven written, verbal and presentation skills are very important for this position
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of business/technical field related to assigned system and proficiency with related areas.

Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
