We are seeking passionate and driven Stylists to join our team and help grow our brand by delivering an exceptional client experience.

Job Summary: As a Stylist at Midnight Oil Collection, you will be the face of our brand, guiding clients through the custom clothing design process and ensuring they receive the best fit and style to match their unique preferences. We are seeking Stylists who have a client-first mindset and who are passionate about providing a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that exceeds the client's expectations. Success is achieved by being a driven, self-motivated team player who is resourceful, positive and exemplifies inclusivity. This is a commission-only role, ideal for eager individuals who thrive in a flexible, dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:

Conduct individual styling consultations and fittings.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Assist clients in choosing fabrics and design options for customizable garments.
Provide professional advice on fit, style, and customization options.

Sales Cycle Management:

Guide clients through the step-by-step sales process.
Provide upward feedback on client preferences and trends.

Order Placement:

Facilitate the ordering process, ensuring all details are captured accurately.
Confirm order specifics with clients and manage expectations regarding production timelines.

Fit Confirmation:

Take client measurements.
Facilitate client fittings with try-on samples, in-person or remotely.
Assist clients in confirming their fit and making any necessary adjustments before production begins.

Customer Relationship Management:

Engage in networking to build a clientele.
Nurture and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Proactively reach out to clients with new product options and styling suggestions.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process consistent with Midnight Oil Collection’s expectation.

Representation:

Champion Midnight Oil Collection's core values.
Support a collaborative environment with clients and other Stylists

Engagement:

Participate in ongoing training and development.
Attend regularly scheduled team calls.
Commit to being a part of the Midnight Oil Collection community, including engaging in social media.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in fashion retail, custom clothing, or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and style. Self-motivated, driven and results orientated. Strong curiosity for the client’s lifestyle needs and preferences. A growth mindset is important.

Sociable: Strong network of existing and potential clients. Able to develop and maintain a book of business, including cultivating and nurturing new leads. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management and all Midnight Oil Collection stylists.

Passion: A genuine passion for fashion, a drive to help clients achieve their best look, and a goal of delivering best-in-class customer service.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools and platforms to manage client interactions and orders.
Flexibility: Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule to meet the needs of the business.
Background Check: Ability to pass a background check successfully.

Compensation:

Commission-Only: Earn a competitive commission on each sale, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
Independent Contractor: Person will be an Independent Contractor (not an employee) and will receive a 1099 statement at year end.
