Overview:
The award winning Grandover Resort & Spa - A Wyndham Grand Hotel is currently hiring cooks in our Finial Fine Dining Restaurant.
We have morning shift available.
3 pm - 11 pm
Must be available to work weekends and holidays!!!
We are currently seeking hard-working and experienced individuals to join our team as a cook.
Finial Restaurant is a favorite of resort guests, local executives and the surrounding community.
The right individual would be ambitious, hardworking and team oriented.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of steak, fish, poultry and games meat temperatures without the use of a thermometer is a plus!!
- Set up, clean, and stock kitchen prep station.
- Measure, weigh, cut, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
- Prepare food and cook main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks.
- Plate, arrange, and garnish dishes based on the chef’s guidance.
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed timely and accurately.
- Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils.
- Store equipment at the end of shift.
- Follow food safety standards and regulations to ensure proper operating procedures and hygiene.
