Delta computer solutions inc. www.deltacs.com has openings for Analyst Assistants to:
- Read (online) and conduct coding for incoming aviation safety incident reports (keyboard/online tool based input)
- Code Reports at either abbreviated or full-form standards, using an online custom tool that is user-friendly
- Assist in de-identification of safety reports with a keen eye to detail to assure reporter and employer (airline, etc) anonymity
- Adhere to scheduled work hours
- Attend required team meetings
Considerations include:
- Familiarity with Personal Computers (PCs), Microsoft (mainly Onedrive, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn a custom browser-based software tool
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work remotely or in an office as required.
- Ability to commute locally to the work facility in Sunnyvale, CA
- Ability to complete training and pass initial proficiency check. Subsequently, employee should Meet SOP standards and perform at level of proficiency on an ongoing basis following initial training.
Candidate should be:
- Enrolled or has completed a degree or technical program of study related to Airway/Aviation/Aerospace Science or Aviation
- Working towards obtaining at minimum a Private Pilot Certificate (could include written exam completion / student pilot, etc.)
- Experienced in or have Broad knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, maintenance regulations, and FAA Controller Policy.
Candidate should have:
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, detail oriented, teamwork oriented with a love for all things aviation!
- The ability to communicate clearly and in a timely fashion, including sending and responding to email communications.
Background Check: Ability to pass a background investigation required to obtain NASA badge
Hours: Flexible Hours Monday – Friday, and Weekends based on employee’s schedule and availability.
Compensation: includes Profit Share and 401(k) matching.
