Full Job Description

Our client is seeking a full-time Accountant with full charge bookkeeping, client services management, and tax return or reviewing experience. The ideal candidate has experience working in CPA firm, is highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, has a strong desire to help others, and thrives in a team driven atmosphere. Compensation: $55,000-$90,000+ depending on experience

Responsibilities

· Process client bookkeeping and assist clients with QuickBooks related processes or questions

· Manage full payroll preparation, including preparing and initiating related payroll tax deposits and Federal and State payroll tax reports

· Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with financial statement preparation

· Prepare quarterly and annual sales and use tax reports

· Review client financial information, prepare tax returns, and advise on tax related matters.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in a full-charge bookkeeping and in-house payroll-related role a must

· Experience in reviewing and/or preparing individual & business tax returns preferred

· Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree with equivalent experience needed

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

· Effective written and verbal communication skills a must
