Revenue/Sales & Marketing Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
SUMMARY:
Operates the position in a professional manner while optimizing team morale, and hotel profitability. Directs and coordinates activities of the hotel staff/corporate staff to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. These duties include:
1. Monitor rates and inventory for all hotels daily to insure correct pricing
2. Develop, monitor and adjust rates based on hotel(s) pace using all the tools and software we have at ROHM Group
3. Conduct rate shops of competitive hotels (daily, weekly, monthly, events)
4. Maintain rate parity on OTA websites and insure all discount levels are maintained.
5. Review and analyze weekly/monthly STR Reports to measure the hotels daily, weekly and year over year’s growth or decline against comp sets which each hotel
6. Prepare and maintain Rolling Forecast for each hotel
7. Review Night Audit Managers Flash/Hotel Stats Reports and enter daily totals in Rolling Forecast
8. Assist General Managers/DOS analyze pricing strategies for corporate accounts, group business and special events
9. Conduct inventory of hotels rate code and/or rate plans. Check for correct rates, deactivate low producing codes, etc.
10. Daily reviews of hotels Rate Discrepancy reports checking for loss revenue and the reason for the financial loss. Consult with GMs for action plans.
11. Weekly review Future Reservations reports searching for lead opportunities to assist hotels
12. Monitor sales activities production, Sales entries and tracking in Hotel SalesPro/STS
13. Manage hotels with Marketing ideas to keep their properties visible on their brand sites, local area, social media sites
14. Manage the Development of Sales & Marketing Plans at each hotel, and Insure that the hotels are executing the Plans
15. Conduct Weekly Conference Calls to review weekly hotel performances pacing to monthly budget, STR review, review hotel’s 30-60-90 day rate/pricing strategies making necessary changes, review new Sale leads, discuss action steps to capture business, updates on existing accounts, group contracts and pick-up review, Marketing Plan target account updates
16. Assist in Bi-weekly Brand Revenue Management conference calls to review hotels booking pace, booking channels, rate strategies, STR Report, etc.
17. Transpose hotels Weekly Conference Calls notes and/or discussions into a Weekly Summary Report to be delivered to Principal and DOO
18. Assist with onboarding new hotels. Set up Rolling Forecast, budget, Marketing Plan, Sales action plan, hotel content, Ehog completion, training General Manager/DOS in Sales, etc.
19. Prepare Annual Revenue Budgets for All Hotel around August and September of each calendar year.
20. Every 4th Quarter assist General Managers/DOS with Sales & Marketing Plans and Budgets for the following year
21. Correspond/Hold Accountable General Managers/DOS regarding rate strategies, Sales, PMS systems, etc.
22. Attend tradeshow(s) to promote individual/various hotels
23. Travel and conduct property visits and training at all hotels
24. Keep all financial information reviewed and prepared confidential.
25. Insure all Brand Related Revenue Channels our completed optimized and producing revenue for each hotel
26. Insure all hotel complete all RFP and Business Cases by the Brand Deadlines.
27. Communicate openly and frequently with Corporate/ROHM personnel, in order to maximize synergy.

28. Perform any and all duties not specifically outlined above that are an inherent part of the position. Perform and execute any requests made by Corporate in a cooperative and expeditious manner.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
