As a key player in our logistics network, you’ll be responsible for transporting freight efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

Safely operate tractor-trailers, including Conestoga and Dry Van trailers and Containers to efficiently deliver freight.

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries seamlessly.

Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure safe operations at all times.

Assist with route planning to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates.

Proven driving experience in freight transportation, including route driving and delivery operations.

Familiarity with various trailer types such as dry vans, container chassis and conestoga/flatbed.

Strong knowledge of safety standards related to trucking, including load securement and vehicle inspections.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to coordinate effectively with colleagues. J
