Assistant Guide (Assistant Teacher) — Montessori Classroom

About the Role
We are looking for a warm, reliable, and growth-minded Assistant Guide to support our mixed-age Montessori classrooms serving children from 6 weeks to 6 years old.
No prior Montessori experience is required — we provide comprehensive training and mentorship as part of your onboarding. This role is an excellent entry point for anyone interested in building a meaningful career in education while working alongside experienced Montessori educators.
As an Assistant Guide, you will help create a calm, respectful classroom environment where children can develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Your Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Guide in maintaining a peaceful, organized Montessori classroom
- Help prepare and maintain classroom materials and environment
- Assist children with daily routines while encouraging independence
- Observe children and support their social and emotional development
- Model respectful communication and positive interactions
- Collaborate with teaching teammates to ensure a consistent classroom experience
