Full Job Description

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal teams to address and communicate plant design, maintenance, or service-related concerns impacting client satisfaction
Support the ongoing care and quality control of interior plant accounts while assisting with client communication and horticultural operations
Identify and route potential business opportunities or client expansion needs to the appropriate department
Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring field staff within a horticulture or plant care environment
Assist in coordinating hands-on horticultural training and development initiatives for new team members alongside experienced staff
Support employee development through regular feedback conversations and performance discussions
Work with field staff to maintain accurate plant inventories, service notes, and account information within company systems
Review plant replacement requests for accuracy and assist in identifying appropriate replacement options when recurring plant health concerns arise
Assist with troubleshooting plant health issues and recommending suitable plant varieties based on environmental conditions and long-term success
Participate in regular team meetings focused on service quality, plant care standards, and operational updates
Contribute to the development and implementation of horticulture training programs and best practices
Coordinate specialty horticultural projects in partnership with operations leadership, including pruning, treatments, installations, or after-hours projects
Serve as a resource for resolving service-related concerns such as plant decline, installation quality, or replacement needs
Monitor account conditions and proactively identify opportunities for service improvements and enhanced plant performance
Support additional operational or horticulture-related projects as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:

Experience in interior plant care, horticulture, landscaping, or a related green industry field
Knowledge of tropical plants, plant health care, and interior plant maintenance practices
Previous mentoring, coaching, or training experience is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Highly organized with a professional and dependable work style
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
Excellent follow-through and attention to detail required
Familiarity with industry-related software or operational tools preferred

Working Conditions:

Requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, lifting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday
Position may involve moderate to physically demanding tasks
Ability to retain and apply detailed information, processes, and procedures
Must be able to effectively understand and communicate verbal information
Ability to remain focused and attentive over extended periods of time without distraction

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
