Part-Time Marketing Intern

Fully Remote | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week | Federal Construction & Infrastructure

Reliance Construction is seeking a motivated and creative Part-Time Marketing Intern to support our growing federal construction and infrastructure business.

This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in marketing, branding, business development, and communications within the construction and government contracting industry. The Marketing Intern will work closely with company leadership on marketing initiatives including brochures, proposal support, website updates, social media content, presentations, branding efforts, and general business development support.

This position offers hands-on experience supporting real-world federal construction pursuits, infrastructure programs, and mission-critical projects while helping strengthen the company’s overall brand presence and market visibility. The role will primarily support remote marketing operations with flexible scheduling around academic or personal commitments.

Responsibilities

Assist with development and updating of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, project sheets, and promotional content
Support company website updates, content improvements, and digital branding initiatives
Assist with social media content creation and scheduling across platforms including LinkedIn
Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across company materials and communications
Support proposal and business development efforts through formatting, graphics, research, and document coordination
Assist with organizing project photos, marketing assets, templates, and company content libraries
Conduct market, competitor, and industry research related to federal construction, infrastructure, and government contracting opportunities
Assist with event coordination, conference preparation, and follow-up communications
Help track marketing initiatives, engagement, and overall brand visibility efforts
Support leadership with administrative and organizational marketing tasks as needed
Collaborate with project teams and company leadership to gather project information, updates, and marketing content

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, or website editing tools is a plus
Interest in construction, infrastructure, energy, engineering, or government contracting industries preferred
Basic graphic design, photography, video editing, or content creation experience is a plus
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

Schedule

Approximately 20 hours per week
Fully remote position
Flexible scheduling based on academic and operational needs
