Business Operations Associate

Carpenters Services Administrative Corporation (CSAC)

Los Angeles, CA 90071 Full-Time, Non-Exempt

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Operations Associate to join our team. This role is designed for someone looking to build a foundation in business analysis and IT Business solutions. You will primarily focus on supporting daily operations, executing core administrative tasks, and assisting senior team members in maintaining efficient business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support: Complete essential administrative tasks and maintain organized records to keep departmental operations on track.
Data & Research: Assist senior team members by utilizing Excel, SQL, and Python to manipulate, validate, and analyze datasets, ensuring data accuracy and identifying key trends.
Documentation & Notetaking: Attend meetings to take and distribute detailed notes and assist in creating basic process documentation.
Reporting: Maintain and update recurring reports and queries to help the team track key findings.
Communication: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information on their needs and provide regular status updates.
Quality Support: Assist with initial quality assurance reviews and verify data accuracy before final implementation.

Qualifications

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an office environment, ideally within IT or benefits administration.
Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and a high level of comfort with Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Python, JavaScript and Smartsheet.
Communication: Clear business writing skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Mindset: A proactive, service-oriented approach with a strong desire to learn and take direction from management.
Reliability: Self-motivated with the ability to manage routine tasks independently in a collaborative setting.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a five day-a-week on-site position in an office setting, located in Los Angeles, CA. No hybrid or remote work options available.
Regular paid overtime is required and is an essential function of this role.
Minimal to no travel is expected.
