1ST SHIFT - 6AM TO 2:30PM (MON TO FRI NO WEEKENDS) 2ND SHIFT - 3pm-11:30pm (Mon to Friday NO WEEKENDS) 3RD SHIFT- 11PM TO 7:30AM NO WEEKENDS/NO HOLIDAYS (PAID HOLIDAYS OFF)

Martins Maintenance Inc. is a family-owned and operated cleaning company providing commercial cleaning services to our customers throughout the great state of Rhode Island.

We are actively recruiting both FULL TIME CLEANING TECHNICIANS who would like to join our GENERAL DYNAMICS ELECTRIC BOAT - JANITORIAL TEAM. We need self-motivated people that are detail-oriented and passionate about cleaning & leaving our customer's facility looking cleaner than when they arrived! If you are a hard worker with a positive attitude that is looking to join a rapidly growing company with plenty of opportunities for individual growth, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Ideally, candidates will be onboarded and asked to start as soon as possible.

Candidates must be able to hear and comprehend safety signals and instructions in a loud shipyard and office environment.

Our basic job duties include:

Cleaning and maintaining hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
Cleaning glass/main entrance doors.
Spot cleaning furniture within common areas.
Emptying trash and replace liners.
Thoroughly cleaning restrooms & replenishing supplies.
Disinfecting all touch point areas.
Cleaning and organizing janitorial closets.

Qualifications:

Pre-Employment screening required to include background check.
Must bring either your Passport or Copy of your Birth Certificate to the interview to help expedite the hiring process.
Understands the importance of being on-time.
Management of the safety and cleanliness of the job site.
Must be able to communicate well with both the customer and the management team.
