My drivers are making $8,500 to $9,500.00 plus a week (paid weekly Saturday to Friday). This would be all reefer running in the midwest. I had 3 full time drivers gross over $300,000.00 in the 2025 market (currently have 6 full time and 2 part-time drivers). I lease to own my trailers after 36 months, I will sign the title over to the driver. My way of investing in you versus the competition. No forced dispatch you can go home whenever you want if your bills are paid. I throw in my up to a dollar discount for fuel we use TVC. I have a driver who currently made $1,000,000.00 gross in 2.7 years (2022). He bought a second truck, put a driver in the truck. He now gets a percentage off that truck. Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and refrigerated produce over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Must have 36 CDL months verifiable driving history
Skills
- Proven work experience as a CDL truck driver 3 yrs required
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid CDL driving license
