Become a Key Player as a Software Engineer 4

You will help build the next generation of high-performance, cloud-based subscription and purchasing services that support multiple products and geographies. Your work will impact customers and internal stakeholders by delivering scalable, reliable services and improving product adoption through data-driven experimentation. This is an onsite role in San Jose (full-time, 5 days/week).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

Participate in all phases of software development: design, coding, code review, unit and integration testing, and bug fixing
Design and deliver medium to complex functionality independently
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure excellent end-to-end user experiences
Provide guidance to team members to build scalable, high-performance solutions with low operational overhead
Rapidly prototype ideas and research industry trends to improve product features and adoption
Perform data analysis and experimentation on data flowing through services
Build data consistency and validation features to ensure high-quality data

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
2–5 years of experience in software engineering
Experience or knowledge in Java and Spring Framework
Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design
Experience building RESTful services
Strong knowledge of databases and SQL
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Agile software development practices

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

Experience with AWS
Experience with observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk
Experience building large-scale, complex client/server solutions
Knowledge of data experimentation and analysis

Pay Range

$58.72 - $73.40/hour
