Overview
This role supports the design, development, and enhancement of modern, scalable applications using .NET on the backend and React on the frontend. The developer will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions that support business and operational objectives. This role will contribute to projects supporting ongoing digital transformation efforts, including modernizing legacy systems, improving user experience and accessibility, enabling data-driven decision-making, and leveraging cloud and AI-assisted tools to increase efficiency, scalability, and security across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core)
- Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
- Support digital transformation initiatives, including application modernization and process automation
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with UX, QA, DevOps, and other developers throughout the SDLC
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards
- Support application deployments and post-release issue resolution
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development
- Hands-on experience building applications with React
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server or similar)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with microservices or distributed systems
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API)
- Exposure to security best practices and performance optimization
- Prior experience supporting enterprise or public-sector applications
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as ASUS AI technologies and Microsoft Copilot
