Full Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a candidate with more than 7 years of experience in front-end website design. This role focuses on designing and building high-quality front-end website experiences across marketing, healthcare, medical, wellness, and B2B environments. You will work across UX, visual design, and front-end execution, producing interfaces that are clear, fast, and conversion-aligned. The position suits someone who can move seamlessly between design, structure, and implementation, maintaining tight control over detail and delivering polished, production-ready work without extensive oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Design website layouts, component systems, and UX flows based on strategic requirements.
Translate wireframes, briefs, and brand guidelines into high-fidelity visual designs.
Build responsive front-end pages using modern frameworks and clean, maintainable code.
Create and customise websites using DIY and template-based platforms such as Squarespace, HubSpot CMS, WordPress themes, and similar systems.
Ensure all interfaces meet accessibility standards and support high usability.
Optimise layouts, assets, and code to improve speed, clarity, and performance.
Maintain consistency across typography, spacing, grids, and interaction patterns.
Collaborate with copy, strategy, and development stakeholders to align design intent and functionality.
Implement structured design systems or refine existing ones as required.
Perform quality checks across devices and browsers, resolving issues before delivery.
Manage multiple projects with disciplined workflow, version control, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in front-end website design within an agency or in-house environment.
Advanced proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) for UI/UX design and prototyping.
Strong capability with HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or equivalent.
Experience building on platforms such as Squarespace, HubSpot CMS, WordPress, Webflow, or comparable DIY frameworks.
Understanding of UX principles, interaction patterns, and user-centred design.
Ability to translate brand direction into cohesive visual systems and web experiences.
Comfortable working independently and owning the end-to-end design-to-build process.
Familiarity with responsive design, mobile-first approaches, and component-based architectures.
Strong organisational discipline and structured file management.
Experience with project or workflow tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or equivalents.

Additional Preferred Skills

Ability to build or refine scalable design systems.
Understanding of web performance indicators and how design choices impact them.
Comfort with rapid iteration, prototype testing, and structured design exploration.
Ability to identify weaknesses in UX or UI and propose precise improvements.
Basic familiarity with SEO considerations, metadata, and conversion-oriented layout patterns.
Other required skills: critical thinking, planning, time management, clear communication.
