If you're considering working here, think twice. This workplace is plagued by toxic leadership that creates a hostile environment. The “supervisors” have a penchant for foul language, which permeates the atmosphere and sets a negative tone for everyone. Instead of fostering a culture of respect and professionalism, they choose to belittle employees with their cursing and disrespectful behavior.

The worst part? The rules seem to change on a daily, or even hourly, basis. What was acceptable one moment can lead to a write-up the next, leaving employees feeling insecure and anxious. There’s no consistency or fairness; it often feels like a game where only a select few know the rules. This unpredictability fosters an environment of fear and distrust, where employees are constantly walking on eggshells.

Lies are rampant, and transparency is nonexistent. You can never be sure if what you’re being told is the truth or just another tactic to manipulate the staff. This lack of integrity from leadership severely undermines morale and productivity.

If you value your mental health and well-being, I would highly recommend seeking employment elsewhere. No job is worth the toxic atmosphere and constant uncertainty that this place offers. Save yourself the stress and find a workplace that respects and values its employees.

No work-life balance. Low pay. SOP's are not followed and/or are sometimes fabricated to manager's/supervisor's liking. Toxic environment due to poor management, young supervisors, cliques,  favoritism. Attendence is the only thing that makes you an exceptional team member. To move up, you must be liked or favored by management or your training or shifts do not go smoothly. Gossip happens anywhere in the building. Schedules, pay for cross-training/preceptor, were changed last second to fit budgets of the company, though these decisons were not made at time of hire. No help for weekends. Management idles around while phlebotomists are running like chickens on the floor. There were times our supervisors would be in the back just talking when training or help was needed. I've been left in the middle of sticks (that require supervision to get signed off), to find that my supervisor is just sitting, talking to other departments, when they are supposed to be on the floor training me and watching my sticks. 
There have been constant moments where we would run out of fitting gloves and would be told to use gloves that were too big, which affected our sticks.
Even as simply just remaining a donor is an issue as staff voice their gossip on the floor and treat you poorly.
Voicing concerns to management or HR gets you nowhere. Get your experience and move on. They only care about the plasma collection. You do not personally matter there.

The job itself is nowhere near hard however, the lack of overall leadership drives the experience into the ground. As a newer facility, it's understandable that some things need ironing out, but it never seemed to come to that point. Workflow, and safety suggestions were constantly met with resistance, promises were made that weren't kept, employees rarely if ever received recognition for outstanding work in the midst of certain chaotic circumstances, employees did not feel safe in many instances due to verbal and sometimes physical threats which were not addressed in a meaningful way. We are in a time where employers are more concerned about their bottom line and product than they are their relationship to the individuals who help them attain that goal, and for something that has such a positive impact on those who are in need of plasma founded medications, it seems this industry is pretty toxic from within. There are leaders and subordinates, and when the leader expects the subordinate to fulfill their role, there can't be harmony.

I absolutely LOVED my job at ADMA. I have ADHD so the constant repetition while processing donation bottles was perfect for me. Processing is a pretty laborious and tiring job until you build the muscle and get used to being in the freezer.

I worked there for almost a year before I had to resign. The center I was at was built on top of concrete flooring, and the constant standing, lifting, bending, etc took a toll on my body. I ended up developing Plantar Faciatis, which now I've had for so long that I'll have to have surgery to repair the tendons and make things better, and THAT has led to severe spinal and sciatica pain. They did provide mats to stand on, but they were so thin and worn out that it didn't do anything. 

Physical difficulties aside, this was a the best job I've had. Management was involved and connected with employees, I felt seen and heard when I presented a problem, and you really get to connect with the donors that come in regularly.

The decision to leave was not made lightly but necessary for my mental and emotional wellbeing due to the hostile and unethical work environment. An environment which does not allow me to focus on my passion of phlebotomy. Due to retaliation, I was unable to come forward about my specific concerns. It is my hope that the current conditions will change for the betterment of all employees and the agency as a whole.
A typical work day consists of being under staffed over worked and under appreciated by management and donors. So must have a backbone. 
I learned that I’m never going to give a job more than it gives me and to make sure they are aware of my boundaries.
Management is mess and talks about each other and subordinates in an unprofessional manner with no regard to who hears them.

Management is lacking. Poor management and planning. They don’t know what they’re doing. They’re not interested in improving or working on the high turn over rate.  Being short staff is the norm.  Donors are disrespectful. you’ll be asked to tolerate bullying. Take the job if you must but ask for more money than what they’re offering you.  You don’t actually get paid more for experience. Absolutely no work life balance. They don’t work with school schedules or accommodate special schedules if you have another job or something. Won’t hire for part time. Constantly changing your schedule without a conversation. Will fire people even though they’re already short staff with out replacing them. Cross training will be promised but won’t actually happen. Would rather bring people from other centers than to train the staff they already have. 


I really like the job , met many different faces and engaged with my donors good conversations . I learned a lot about my job , and working there gave me a good experience , I felt comfortable with the people around me , and that I worked with . Had two weeks of training and went through it like a breeze, after the training I went straight in to working and ended up loving my job . I learned how to multitask way better . If there was any problem at work I brought it to my managers attention and he would help me solve any problem . Always asked questions when I wasn't sure about things . Always did my job and did my job good . The hardest part of my job would be if it got too crowded and we didn't  have enough Screeners we would have to try our hardest and best to get them in and out and I managed to do so.

The management sucks. There's like 1 person in management who doesn't suck and that person has been working their tail off to help others and is honestly the only reason I have stayed as long as I have. The pay is bad considering those with more experience in the industry are making less than those who have just barely started and your raises are just forgotten about unless you constantly complain to HR about it. Let's also not forget about the favoritism. Whoever is liked the most by management is going to get all the gold stars regardless of their work ethic or the other employees who work twice as hard. Constantly understaffed because of the high turnover rate and that makes the workload even harder. 

Stay away from this place unless you wanna be harassed by the donors and coworkers. Some coworkers were absolutely amazing and some made me hate coming into work. Donors ask personal questions that don't need to be asked and make your job a lot harder than it needs to be. Some donors were very sweet and understanding; most were rude, entitled, and just downright disrespectful. Management was okay, you can tell who really cares and who didn't. We were short staffed almost everyday and we're expected to not be stressed and burnt out. No work life balance whatsoever. The pay was good but not for the amount of harassment and rudeness from both donors and coworkers you had to endure. 

This place is overall a mess. The phlebotomist does not receive any help and when we have it’s already too late. The supervisors are good for going to the back and just talking while the floor is a complete mess. This place needs structure and help! They do not take the initiative to hire when help is needed. People have left this center left and right but not enough new hires have came to replace them. If something comes up in your life understand that you will be judged and they fo not care. The supervisors only care about you showing up to get their plasma in and out. You will not have a life with this job!!!!
