You are welcome to come in twice a week and put in minimal effort to make say about $70 over the course of 3 months... Or you could work everyday for less than five weeks and make $1,500, which is me. If you are willing to be here everyday, and think about this night and day, you will make it in this business, if not then you get out what you put in. There are agents that make $20,000 a year and are fine with that, then there are agents that make $300,000+ per year. First thing to note, this career takes time to be stable. But, depending on how much time it takes, depends on YOU. You must have extreme levels of self-discipline to make it through the first year at least. 

If you feel this career in your heart, to actually help people, or to help support your family, and you are driven then, NOTHING can stop YOU. WE WILL SUPPORT YOU, and HELP YOU GROW INTO YOUR CAREER! Believe me, if it weren't for the family of agents here, there is no way I would be close to where I am now. And I still have a lot more to learn to. Anyone can do this, if you have the GRIT!

I see a lot of positive and negative comments. The positives come from people who are headstrong and follow the business model. The negative ones may have been people who didn't listen to the trainers or didn't want to do hard work thinking what we do is easy. I'll tell you first hand its tough starting out. My own dedication and grit and the product lines we offer really could have shaped my family's future better than what it was. So when I saw what they did, I made it my career to help those to not have the same issues we did(before I knew about anything about this business). The short of it is you're paid what your worth. I feel I'm worth way more than what a routine 9-5 would do and this opportunity did it for me. In this business the only person to blame is yourself. I earn a good living educating people about their options. Never do I "sell" them. I guess that's why I'm referred to so many people. This business promotes managers from within. Those same managers started at the same place everyone else did.

So when you start there, you get call lists and a script. You're supposed to call people and tell them that Medicare requires an annual review of their benefits, which is a lie. So purpose of this is to set appointments so that the agents that have been there for a long time can go on and "train" you. I made a lot of appointments sold a few policies never received a nickel. Their primary purposes to get into the house of seniors and they do a two or three minute review of Medicare because that's what was said on the phone and then to the annuities they go. That's all they're mainly interested in. They want to know where your money is invested so they could possibly switch you to their product and get paid a commission. I called this a turn and burn operation. There's a select a few who make all the money and the people that keep getting hired are the ones that do the grunt work for no pay. 

I love working for ASB financial. I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to have a career that is flexible with no limit to how much money I can make. I can truly say I enjoy what I do. ASB has great training, resources and lead systems. I have worked for many other companies and that is what sets this one aside from the rest. If you have great work ethic and are willing to put in the time in this business, the sky is the limit. The first 6 months is the toughest in trying to get going but with the help of management and resources they provide I was able to exceed my expectations. .

There is a lack of leadership in the office I was based out of.  There was a big shake up and a lot of the star producers and management team left, leaving a lot of us in the dark.  The management leftover are great motivators, but horrible teachers, leaving new agents lost, relying on teaching themselves.  They teach you to go in, say the right things to be more of a salesman than a problem solver, and do whatever it takes to increase sales volume.  The leads they supply agents might as well be names pulled from a phone book.  Cold call, cold call, cold call.  I was promised $50,000 a year following their guidance, and I didn't even make a third of that.  

I've been with ASB Financial for 12 years. The team environment here is fantastic and very supportive. Not everyone who joins makes it because it does require a strong work ethic and self-accountability. All of the tools, marketing and training are provided so for those who take full advantage this is easily a six figure career. 

The owner and each of the District Managers genuinely want every single hire to succeed. They will match your level of effort 100% every time. 

Hard work for a committed and career minded individual.  Great work enviroment where the client comes first and full understanding for work/life balance.  Ongoing training and will see positive results on your hard work & efforts.  A bit tuff in the beginning but then it will flow once you start building your book of business. Working as a team, set appointments and meet with clients and place them in products that best suits their needs.  Great Manager who continues to motivate and encourage agents.  The hardest part of the job is working on commission only and the most enjoyable is the satisfaction received from clients positive response to products they have been placed in.
