With no paid time off (regardless of how long you’ve worked for them), no health insurance, no benefits of any sort, and having one of the lowest pay rates for this field, there is little to no motivation to work for and remain with this company. Staff appreciation and respect is severely lacking. In an already understaffed field, Able suffers from even greater turnover due to their overall lack of management, care, appreciation and benefits given to their employees. There is little good I could say about this company. They have direct deposit, I suppose that’s a plus.

I have been in management in this field for years, and offered well-meaning suggestions to help streamline their company practices. Every time, I was met with “I don’t concern myself with what other companies are doing differently.” If Able were a company within any other field, where their income does not come from set hourly pay rates from the individuals we serve, they would already be out of business; from sheer lack of proper management.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people you care for are great they really rely on you and they show it by constantly thanking you. They love to get out and about and go on trips even if it’s just to the store for a soda. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The constant changes coming from management I understand they want to make the company better but constant changes coming is stressful. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It feels like it is every man or woman for themselves most of the time. Like teamwork doesn’t exist. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It’s pretty chill as long as you stick to the schedule and keep the clients interested.

Don't waste your time. If the company does last, you sure won't. One of you will exit sooner rather than later. The owner or anyone in a higher up position tend to be all alike... INSECURE!.... and LOVE DRAMA. Oh!... and the LIES!  It is designed for you to fail. Please don't go in being your intelligent self, doing a good job, have a wonderful personality and get along well with others. They hate that and will boot you out fast!

This was the worst place I have ever worked. The environment was filled with bad attitude, lies, and deception. Ethel runs the business and decides who comes and who goes, which is bad for business. The Director allows mischief and gossip versus peace and good care to all. It was everything unhealthy in a job that can be unhealthy in a job. The staff worked together pretty much two calls conflict so that you will quit so that they can get overtime and work hours until the Director feels shift bad for business poor communication and very unorganized in training.

The owner is great woman loving caring person  the client they keep moving and big part why i was coming to work

One title, to many jobs with to little pay! Believe the reviews! A lot of mistakes, because people are overworked. The pay is not good for the amount of work that you have to do. A lot of call ins and people not showing up or if they do, they don’t do their work.

Communication  they don’t communicate with you. Everybody should know the same thing, but they don’t. Asked to work extra shifts and they say they don’t have any, but then you see leads working extra shifts.

I absolutely loved working there. Great staff. The CEO is very nice. She makes sure her staff as well as her clients are doing alright. Flexible hours are available after talking with the house head.

Not worth it lol I've been in better positions with better pay but this place is DRAMA from COWORKERS TO HR DIRECTOR DONT TRUST IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
