I truly enjoy the work I do and the impact it has in my community. This role gives me the opportunity to network, build meaningful connections, and follow my passions while using my strengths. I feel supported in my efforts, especially when teaching financial education and guiding students toward a positive financial future.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is working closely with our military community. I am grateful for the chance to help families who sacrifice so much, and it gives me a strong sense of purpose every day I come to work.

I also feel valued and appreciated for the contributions I make, which motivates me to give my best. My team is incredible—we work well together, support one another, and truly feel like a family.

Overall, this is a wonderful organization to be a part of, and I would highly recommend working here to anyone seeking meaningful work, supportive leadership, and a great team environment.

The best part in my experience working at Abound was getting to meet a lot of great people 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company does not fully tain employees, I was "thrown to the wolves" to many times to count. It made me look bad as well as the company in front of members. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Front line environment is extremely stressful, back office employees do not make it easy as they are not customer facing and cared very little about members and fellow employees. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depending on your position and what branch you are at a typical day varies. I worked at all branches in my position. Busier branches are non stop and stressful, slower branches were more relaxed and easier to stay on top of things

Working at Abound Credit Union has been such a positive and rewarding experience. The culture is welcoming, and leadership really shows that they value their employees. There are lots of chances to grow, learn new skills, and move forward in your career.

One of the best parts is the teamwork. Everyone is supportive, fun to work with, and focused on helping each other succeed. Management has consistently been approachable, open to feedback, and truly cares about our well being.

My favorite part, though, has been the community involvement. Abound is passionate about giving back, especially in schools, and it feels great to be part of a company that makes a real difference.

I came in with zero experience and now have an amazing career with people who have become like family. I look forward to many more years of success and growth ✨️ 



It's rare to find a workplace that cares as much about me as they do about purpose. And everyone is working for the same common purpose, to make people's lives better. It's a strong culture of doing what's right, and baring about others. Whether that's the people you work with or the communities and people who come into our branches, call us on the phone, or do their baking without ever talking to us. Favoritism, unprofessionalism, conservative views, conservative policies

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Differences very depending on your department, Sum can be great others have very toxic unprofessional managers

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive at 8, calls, emails, projects, meetings, leave at 5:30 or later.

Don’t even try with this job. They have the worst people ever and don’t care about their employees at ALL. For nine months of working there I didn’t have a manger at my branch and they when we got one she was rude. I put in my two weeks because I wasn’t going to take that from them and they fired me for it. They made me do way more than I was supposed to being a regular teller and didn’t want to pay me for it. I’ve never been so unappreciated at a job nor made to feel like everything wrong is my fault. I loved them members but the way the cu runs itself isn’t worth anyone’s time. 

I was a floating teller who traveled distances as far as Danville, KY. Traveling allowed me to gain more experience with different products. I got to meet many employees which included fourteen branches. I learned how to dispute members issues professionally and well mannered. Giving members the information they require to solve disputes would be the best part of the job. A satisfied member. The hardest part of the job is traveling, because I traveled so often it was hard to gain the one on one experience with members individually.

Good work environment and meaningful core values. Such a fun company to work for, truly a family rather than just coworkers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Typically no stress in the day to day work environment. Depending on the department you work for the only stress you will face is system changes. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fun is prioritized! Always.

Never get stagnate, keeping moving up and focus on your career goals. Great benefits and there are constantly full time positions available.  The defined benefits package is hard to beat. I would not be as well rounded of a professional if it were not for this company.  You will be a wearer of many hats so being able to multitask is a must. Overall great company and provides many opportunities. One of the strongest credit unions in the nation so job security is a plus.
